Interac casinos are gambling sites that take deposits, and in most cases pay withdrawals, through Interac e-Transfer from a Canadian bank account. Among the provincially licensed operators in our records, BetMGM, FanDuel, DraftKings, Stardust, Royal Vegas, PlayOJO and Jackpot City list Interac in the cashier. Your bank sets the e-Transfer limit; the casino sets its own minimum and maximum per deposit.
Many offshore sites also show the Interac logo, but the payment method says nothing about the licence behind the site. Online gambling is 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec); set a budget before you fund any account and read our responsible gambling page if play stops feeling like entertainment.
How an Interac e-Transfer casino deposit works
Interac e-Transfer moves money between Canadian accounts through online banking. The email or text message only carries the notice; the banks move the funds. Interac describes transfers as usually near instant, up to about 30 minutes, and occasionally slower when a fraud check holds the payment.
- Pick Interac in the casino cashier and enter the amount.
- Follow the cashier instructions: some sites show recipient details, others send you to a payment page that opens your banking.
- Approve the transfer in your bank’s app or website.
- The balance updates once the operator confirms the payment.
The recipient shown in your banking app can be the operator’s payment processor rather than the brand name. Check the cashier instructions before you approve, and never send an e-Transfer to an address someone gives you in a chat or a social media message.
Interac casino Canada list: regulated operators
The table below lists operators that are registered with the AGCO and contract with iGaming Ontario, most of them also registered in Alberta. The Interac field and the payout time come from the operators’ payment pages and review directories; an empty cell means we could not confirm the value.

Ontario players must be 19+ and physically in Ontario; see our Ontario guide. Alberta’s private market opened on 13 July 2026, explained on the Alberta page. The crown sites (PlayNow, PlayAlberta, Loto-Quebec’s online casino and ALC) are the regulated choice elsewhere; OLG’s player agreement lists e-transfers, while our records do not confirm the cashier of the other crown sites, so check after you log in. Quebec readers searching for a casino en ligne Interac will find Loto-Quebec’s own site described on our Quebec page.
Interac e-Transfer limits and fees
Interac does not set one national cap. Each bank or credit union sets its own send limits, and Interac cites typical consumer limits of about $2,000 to $3,000 per transaction; yours may be lower or higher, and daily and weekly totals also apply. On top of that, every operator publishes its own minimum and maximum per deposit in the cashier and payment terms.
Interac says institutions may charge fees, for example to cancel a transfer. Whether sending an e-Transfer costs anything depends on your account plan. We could not confirm a general rule on casino-side fees, so read the payment terms before the first deposit.
Bank rules on gambling payments
An e-Transfer comes out of a chequing or savings account, so the credit card cash-advance rules that RBC, CIBC and TD apply to gambling charges do not come into play. We could not confirm which Canadian banks block or flag gambling e-Transfers. If a payment is refused, call your bank first. If you want to stop gambling payments for yourself, ask your bank whether it can block gambling merchants; deposit limits and self-exclusion in the casino account are the other tools.
Interac withdrawals and payout times
At most regulated sites in our records, Interac works both ways: winnings go back to the bank account linked to your casino account. Operators usually ask for identity checks before the first withdrawal and may send money back by the method you deposited with, according to their terms. We do not time payouts ourselves; the withdrawal time column above shows what the operator publishes, and our fast withdrawal casinos page compares published processing times.
Interac Online was discontinued
Interac Online, the older service that let you pay a merchant directly from online banking, was discontinued on 31 October 2024. A site that still advertises “Interac Online” most likely means e-Transfer or a bank-connect service, so look at what the cashier actually opens.
Interac at offshore casinos
New Interac casinos appear every month, and many of them are offshore sites licensed in Malta, Kahnawake, Curacao or Anjouan. The bank transfer itself works the same way. What changes is the protection: these sites are not licensed by any province, provincial rules and complaint routes do not cover them, and a payment dispute ends with the operator and its foreign regulator. Our Kahnawake guide explains that licence in detail.
Questions readers ask
- Do all Canadian online casinos accept Interac?
No. Most Ontario-registered operators in our records list Interac e-Transfer, but each cashier differs and some brands only list cards or wallets. Check the cashier after you log in.
- What is the Interac e-Transfer limit for casino deposits?
There is no single limit. Your bank or credit union sets the e-Transfer limit, and the casino sets its own minimum and maximum per deposit.
- Can I withdraw casino winnings by Interac?
At most regulated sites that list Interac, yes: the money goes back to the linked bank account after identity checks. Published processing times differ by operator.
- Is Interac Online still available?
No. Interac Online was discontinued on 31 October 2024. Sites that use the old name usually mean e-Transfer or another bank-connect service.
- Does an Interac logo mean a casino is licensed in Canada?
No. Offshore sites also accept Interac. Only provincial registration, for example with the AGCO and iGaming Ontario, makes an online casino regulated in a province.
