Where it is legal

  • QCOffshore access
  • MBOffshore access
  • SKOffshore access
  • NSOffshore access
  • NBOffshore access
  • PEOffshore access
  • NLOffshore access
  • YTOffshore access
  • NTOffshore access
  • NUOffshore access

"Offshore access" means the site accepts players there without a provincial licence: provincial rules and complaint routes do not cover it.

In Ontario and Alberta, Royal Vegas Casino is a regulated option: the Ontario site is run by Cadtree Limited under AGCO registration and an iGaming Ontario agreement, and the same company is on the AGLC registrant list for Alberta’s private market. Outside those two provinces, a separate Royal Vegas site run by Baytree Interactive Ltd under a Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence serves the rest of Canada, and it does not carry a provincial licence. Which site you get, and which protections apply, depends on where you live.

Most searches for Royal Vegas Casino in Canada mix those two products. This review keeps them apart. The casino itself is a long-running, casino-only brand with Interac deposits and an iPhone app. Any welcome offer or payout figure we show comes from our operator file and may change.

Two Royal Vegas sites: Ontario and Alberta versus the rest of Canada

Where you are Operator company Regulator Complaint route
Ontario Cadtree Limited AGCO, with iGaming Ontario Operator first, AGCO standards behind it
Alberta Cadtree Limited AGLC, with the Alberta iGaming Corporation Operator first, AGLC behind it
Other provinces and territories Baytree Interactive Ltd Kahnawake Gaming Commission, not a province Operator, then the KGC

Royal Vegas appears in the iGaming Ontario operator directory under Cadtree Limited, next to its sister brands. On the AGLC register the Royal Vegas registration sits under the same company. If you open the Ontario site from outside the province you can log in, but you cannot place bets until you are physically in Ontario. The Alberta site works the same way inside Alberta.

What the Ontario and Alberta licences give you

In Ontario, registration means the operator works under the AGCO’s Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming, which include strict rules on advertising and on how bonuses may be promoted. You can join the province-wide BetGuard self-exclusion as well as the casino’s own program. In Alberta, an operator needs both AGLC registration and an agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation, and the private market has been live since 13 July 2026.

  • Complaints: you go to the operator first; the regulator sets the rules the operator must follow and can act against it.
  • Location: real-money play only while you are physically inside the province.
  • Self-exclusion: available through the operator and, in Ontario, across all regulated sites.
  • Age: 19+ in Ontario and 18+ in Alberta.

The rest-of-Canada site has none of the provincial layer. A Kahnawake licence comes with its own rules and complaint process, explained in our Kahnawake licence guide, but no province supervises it.

Can you trust Royal Vegas?

For the Ontario and Alberta sites, largely yes: they are run by a company listed by both regulators, with its name on public record. The brand also has a long history; the founding year on file is 2000. That does not mean every offer is good value or that the rest-of-Canada site offers the same protection. If you are in Ontario, check that the address you use is the Ontario site from the iGaming Ontario directory, not a page promoting the international version.

Games at Royal Vegas Casino

Royal Vegas is a casino-only brand: there is no sportsbook, poker room or lottery. The official site returned an error to our research checks, so we could not read the game lobby and we do not name studios or titles here. Expect slots and casino table games, and treat the lobby for your own province as the only reliable list, since Ontario and Alberta catalogues can differ.

Game counts differ between review sources, which usually reflects different snapshots and different provinces. We do not quote a number. RTP is set per game by the studio; the game’s help or information screen is where to check it.

Royal Vegas bonus, promo code and free spins

Some readers search for a Royal Vegas 1000 free spins deal. We could not trace that figure to current terms in any province, so we do not repeat it. Ontario’s advertising standards also restrict how operators promote bonuses outside their own site, which is one more reason to read the offer on the operator’s Ontario page itself. The offer on file:

Item Value on file
Welcome offer not stated
Promo code not stated
Wagering not stated
Minimum deposit not stated

Empty cells mean the value could not be confirmed. Offers on the Ontario, Alberta and international sites are not the same, and a no deposit bonus or free spins deal seen on a foreign page may not apply where you live. Read the terms on the site for your province before depositing. Our welcome bonus guide explains wagering, game weighting and caps.

Interac, cards and cashing out

The payment methods on file for the Canadian sites:

  • Interac
  • Visa, Mastercard and American Express
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay (Alberta)
  • eCheck for withdrawals in Ontario

Interac is the method most Canadians use, and our Interac casino guide explains limits and timing. Withdrawal time on file: not stated. Expect identity checks before the first payout; any pending period is set in the operator’s terms.

Verification and the first payout

Regulated sites in both provinces must confirm your age and identity and check that you are inside the province when you play. Usually that means photo ID, and sometimes proof of address, before the first withdrawal. These general steps help avoid delays:

  1. Complete identity verification soon after registering, not at the moment you want to cash out.
  2. Use payment methods in your own name, which keeps the identity check simple.
  3. Finish or cancel any active bonus first, since bonus funds can hold back a withdrawal.
  4. Keep the transaction reference in case you need to raise a complaint with the operator.

If the operator does not resolve a complaint, you can raise it with the regulator for your province. That route is the main practical advantage over the rest-of-Canada site.

Royal Vegas app for iPhone and Android

According to the operator data on file, Royal Vegas has an iOS app in the App Store, while Android users get an APK from the operator rather than a Google Play listing. App status on file: iOS Yes, Android No. Download any Android file only from the official Ontario or Alberta site, never from a link in an ad. The app uses your location and only allows real-money play inside the province of your account.

Sister brands under Cadtree and Baytree

Royal Vegas sister sites follow the same split. In Ontario, Cadtree Limited also runs Jackpot City, Spin Casino and Ruby Fortune, and Jackpot City, Spin Casino and Ruby Fortune also appear under Cadtree on the Alberta register. See our Jackpot City review for the closest sister brand. Outside Ontario and Alberta, Baytree Interactive Ltd holds Kahnawake licences for other brands, including Lucky Nugget; those are offshore sites with no provincial licence.

Who Royal Vegas suits, and keeping control

Royal Vegas suits Ontario and Alberta players who want a casino-only account with Interac and a provincial regulator behind it. It is less suited to people who also want sports betting in one account, and players elsewhere in Canada should understand that the site they reach is the Kahnawake version. If you are in British Columbia, Manitoba or Saskatchewan, PlayNow is the regulated choice; Quebec has Loto-Quebec’s online casino.

Online casinos are for adults: 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). Use the deposit limits in your account, and see our responsible gambling page for provincial helplines.

Its Ontario and Alberta sites are run by Cadtree Limited, registered with the AGCO and the AGLC. In other provinces a separate site holds a Kahnawake licence, not a provincial one.

Who owns Royal Vegas Casino?

Cadtree Limited operates the Ontario and Alberta sites. The rest-of-Canada site is run by Baytree Interactive Ltd under a Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence.

Which payment methods does Royal Vegas list?

Our operator file lists Interac, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Apple Pay, plus Google Pay in Alberta and eCheck withdrawals in Ontario.

Is there a Royal Vegas app?

An iOS app is listed on file. Android users get an APK from the operator's own site rather than a Google Play listing.

Where is the official Royal Vegas login?

On the operator's own Ontario or Alberta site, which you can check against the regulator's list. We are an independent review, not a login page.

Scores and verdicts follow our published scoring rules. We earn a commission from some operators; it never changes a score. Facts come from operators' own pages and regulators' registries; we do not open accounts or make deposits. 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). Help and limits.
