Betting on Canadian Football League games and the Grey Cup is legal at the crown sportsbook in every province, and at licensed private books for players located in Ontario or Alberta. A CFL price works like any other line, with one quirk: three-down football has a one-point score that can decide spreads and totals. We cover the main markets and the Grey Cup calendar here, without picks.
CFL schedule
This feed lists upcoming games with dates and teams. It carries no prices and no tips, because each sportsbook sets its own line and lines move as kickoff gets closer.

The 2026 Grey Cup and playoffs
The 2026 CFL playoffs begin on 31 October with the Division Semi-Finals. The 113th Grey Cup is scheduled for Sunday 15 November 2026 at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, the city’s sixth time as host. The 114th Grey Cup has been awarded to Saskatchewan and will be played at Mosaic Stadium in Regina in 2027.
We do not name Grey Cup finalists until the division finals are played. Once they are known, the matchup appears in the schedule above.
CFL moneyline and point spread
The moneyline is a bet on the winner. A team shown with a minus price is the favourite; a plus price marks the underdog. A $100 stake at -150 returns $166.67 in total if it wins, and at +130 returns $230. These are example prices, not current lines.
The point spread levels the two teams. The favourite, shown with a minus number, must win by more than the spread; the underdog, shown with a plus number, covers if it wins or loses by less. When the spread is a whole number and the final margin lands exactly on it, the bet is a push and your stake comes back. OLG’s PROLINE rules define a push as a result where you neither win nor lose. Inside a parlay, a pushed leg can be handled differently from one operator to the next, so check the market rules.
CFL totals and the single point
A total is a bet on the combined points scored. OLG uses a CFL game in its own teaching example: with Hamilton against Winnipeg at 46.5 points, you would bet the over if you expected 47 or more. Three-down football has a scoring quirk that matters here: the single, or rouge, is worth one point. It turns up after missed field goals and punts that are not returned out of the end zone, and a single point can decide a total or a spread set on the half-point.
Many books also offer half and quarter lines, team totals and player props on passing, rushing and receiving yards. Rules for overtime and for players who do not suit up are set in each operator’s football rules.
Championship futures: Grey Cup and division winners
Grey Cup odds are a futures market: you back a team to win the championship and the bet settles after the final. Division winner markets work the same way. Prices move through the season as results, injuries and quarterback changes come in, and the margin across a full list of teams is wider than on a single game. Your stake stays tied up until the market is settled. We do not print current Grey Cup odds, since they would be out of date almost at once.
Turning a CFL price into a percentage
A price is also a statement about a team’s chances. Turn it into decimal odds and divide 1 by the result. With example prices, -150 is 1.667 in decimal, an implied probability of 60%; +130 is 2.30, or 43.5%. Together they add to 103.5%, and the 3.5 points above 100% is the sportsbook’s margin. The odds calculator handles these conversions and parlays.
Legal CFL sportsbooks by province
Every province with a CFL team has a crown sportsbook. Saskatchewan, Manitoba and British Columbia bettors use PlayNow, which runs on BCLC’s platform. Albertans have Play Alberta and, since 13 July 2026, private books registered by AGLC with an Alberta iGaming Corporation agreement. In Ontario, OLG sells PROLINE+ online and PROLINE at retailers, next to private sportsbooks registered by the AGCO and operating with iGaming Ontario. Quebec has Mise-o-jeu from Loto-Quebec, and the Atlantic provinces have Pro-Line from Atlantic Lottery.
On paper, Sport Select tickets from the Western Canada Lottery Corporation are sold in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. One ticket can mix PRO-LINE, OVER/UNDER, POINT SPREAD and PROPS picks, up to 8 of them.

Betting on the CFL within limits
The CFL season is shorter than the NHL’s, but the playoffs and Grey Cup week bring a lot of advertising and a lot of markets at once. Set a budget for the playoffs in advance and stick to stakes you can afford to lose. Betting is 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). Our responsible gambling page lists limits, self-exclusion and provincial helplines.
