"Offshore access" means the site accepts players there without a provincial licence: provincial rules and complaint routes do not cover it.

Two provincial registrations stand behind BET99, a sportsbook and online casino. In Ontario, 1000007698 Ontario Ltd runs on.bet99.ca under an iGaming Ontario agreement; in Alberta, 2786638 Alberta Inc., operating as Bet99, is registered with AGLC. Outside those provinces the brand’s bet99.com domain appears on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission permit list and is not licensed by any province. Where you are standing decides which BET99 you reach and which rules protect you.

This report sets out what we could confirm from the iGaming Ontario directory, the AGLC registrant list and the Kahnawake permit list. The operator’s site was geo-blocked when we tried to fetch it, so product, payment and app details are marked as unconfirmed where that applies. Offer details, payment limits and payout times change often, so we pull them from the operator’s current terms rather than writing them into the text.

Two provinces, two companies: how BET99 is authorized

In Ontario, private gambling sites need two things: a registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario, the provincial agency that conducts and manages online gaming under the Criminal Code. BET99’s Ontario site is on the iGaming Ontario directory of regulated operators, tagged for both casino and sports. Players must be 19+ and physically in Ontario to wager. You can open an account elsewhere, but bets are refused until location checks show you are inside the province. Our Ontario gambling guide covers the wider market.

Alberta opened its private market on 13 July 2026. An operator there needs AGLC registration plus a commercial agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation. BET99’s Alberta company is on AGLC’s registrant list as an iGaming operator. The minimum age in Alberta is 18. See our Alberta page for how that market works next to Play Alberta.

The regulator line printed on this page is AGCO / iGaming Ontario (Ontario); Kahnawake Gaming Commission list (bet99.com); AGLC / Alberta iGaming Corporation (Alberta). The registered companies on file: 1000007698 Ontario Ltd (Bet 99); 2786638 Alberta Inc. o/a Bet99 (Alberta).

bet99.com outside Ontario and Alberta

BET99 is one of several brands that run a provincially authorized site in Ontario and Alberta and a separate site for the rest of Canada. The bet99.com domain appears on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission’s list of permit holders. The Kahnawake commission operates under the authority of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake; it is not a provincial regulator, and no province has recognized it as a licensing body under section 207 of the Criminal Code. In plain terms, bet99.com is not licensed by British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec or the Atlantic provinces.

What that means for you is practical rather than criminal. Provincial complaint routes, BetGuard self-exclusion in Ontario and AGLC oversight in Alberta do not reach the bet99.com site. Disputes there go to the operator and then to the Kahnawake commission. If you live in a province with a crown site, that site is the regulated option: PlayNow in B.C., Manitoba and Saskatchewan, Loto-Quebec in Quebec and Atlantic Lottery in the four Atlantic provinces. Our Kahnawake explainer goes through the legal background.

The BET99 sportsbook: leagues and bet types

The iGaming Ontario directory tags BET99’s Ontario site for sports as well as casino, which sets it apart from casino-only brands. Beyond that tag we could not confirm the current list of leagues, bet types or in-play features, because the operator’s pages were not reachable from our location. Look at the sportsbook menu for the leagues you follow before you register, and read the house rules on settled and void bets.

Single-event wagers have been legal in Canada since 27 August 2021, so a provincially authorized sportsbook can offer a straight bet on one hockey game. Our page on single-event betting explains what changed, and the NHL betting guide covers puck lines and totals. Same-game parlays look attractive because the payouts are large, but each extra leg multiplies the bookmaker’s margin. Treat them as entertainment, not as a plan.

Casino games on BET99

The Ontario listing also carries a casino tag, so one account covers both products. We could not confirm the size of the casino lobby, the studios behind it or whether live dealer tables are included, so we do not quote a game count. Registered Ontario operators work under the AGCO’s Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming; bet99.com does not.

If you mainly want casino play rather than sports, compare BET99 with casino-only brands in our Canadian casino rankings. The sportsbook is the stronger reason to choose this brand.

BET99 bonuses and promotions

The welcome offer currently listed by the operator: not stated. Promo code, if any: not stated. Wagering terms on file: not stated. If a field is blank, we have not verified a current value and you should read the promotions page after you log in.

The full terms sit on the operator’s site and in the account area, and that is the version to rely on rather than an ad or an affiliate summary. Read three things before you opt in: whether the offer is a bet credit or cash, which odds or games count toward the rollover, and the expiry date. A bet credit usually returns only the winnings, not the stake. Our bonus guide explains the common structures in plain words.

Deposits, withdrawals and verification

Interac is the method most Canadian players look for first, but we could not confirm BET99’s cashier list. On file for BET99: Interac not stated, minimum deposit not stated, stated withdrawal time not stated. A blank value means no verified figure.

Expect identity checks before your first withdrawal. Ontario and Alberta operators must verify age, identity and location, and anti-money-laundering rules can trigger extra document requests on larger cash-outs. Keep your documents ready, withdraw to the method you deposited with where the cashier allows it, and save copies of support emails. Our Interac guide explains bank limits and timing.

BET99 app for iPhone and Android

Store status on file: iOS not stated, Android not stated. We have not confirmed either listing. If you find one, compare the seller or developer with the registered companies: 1000007698 Ontario Ltd in Ontario and 2786638 Alberta Inc. in Alberta. A listing under an unrelated name is not the operator’s. Without a store app, the operator’s website in a phone browser is the alternative. Location services must be on either way, because the operator has to confirm you are in Ontario or Alberta before it accepts a bet.

Getting help and keeping records

We could not confirm BET99’s support hours or languages, so check the help centre for current contact options. If you need service in French, ask about it before you register. Whatever channel you use, keep written records. A chat transcript or email is your evidence if a dispute reaches the AGCO or AGLC.

Limits, self-exclusion and where to complain

Because BET99 is registered in Ontario and Alberta, its sites there must offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion. In Ontario you can also self-exclude from every regulated site at once through BetGuard. iGaming Ontario asks players to take a complaint to the operator first; if that fails, the AGCO is the regulator. In Alberta, AGLC is the regulator. None of these routes apply to bet99.com.

Gambling in Canada is for adults only: 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). If betting has stopped being fun, our responsible gambling page lists provincial helplines, including ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600 and Alberta’s Addiction Helpline at 1-866-332-2322.

How BET99 compares with other Ontario sportsbooks

BET99 scores 78/100 on our scale. The licence part of the score is full because the Ontario and Alberta sites are provincially authorized. Points are held back for payments and bonus clarity, where we could not verify current terms, and for the split between the regulated sites and the Kahnawake-listed site, which can confuse players about who protects them. If you are comparing sportsbooks, our reviews of bet365 and Sports Interaction use the same method, set out on how we rate.
