Pragmatic Play remade its Zeus slot in December 2023 as Gates of Olympus 1000, keeping the 6×5 scatter-pays grid and tumbles and raising the maximum win to 15,000x the bet. OLBG lists the RTP at 96.5% with 95% and 94% versions also available, and rates volatility very high. The Gates of Olympus 1000 demo is expected on Pragmatic Play’s official site, though we did not fetch that page.
The same “1000” label appears on other Pragmatic remakes we review, such as Sweet Bonanza 1000 and Sugar Rush 1000. The orb multiplier cap for this game was not stated in the source we checked, so we do not repeat the figures that circulate on other sites.

Zeus scatters, tumbles and the 100x buy
- Scatter pays. Eight or more of a symbol anywhere on the grid is a win; lines do not matter.
- Tumble. Paid symbols disappear and new ones fall in, so a single spin can produce several wins.
- Free spins. Four or more Zeus scatters award 15 free spins.
- Ante Bet. Pay a higher stake for a better chance of hitting the free spins.
- Buy Free Spins. Starts the round for 100x your stake where the market allows it.
The 100x price is worth a moment’s thought. On a $1 stake you pay $100 for one bonus round. A very high volatility round can return a fraction of that, and the price is not refunded. Many markets disable the button, so you may not see it at all.
Free play: the Gates of Olympus 1000 demo
Pragmatic Play publishes official demo pages, and this title is expected to have one. We did not load it, and for other Pragmatic titles we could not confirm from page text that the demo opens in Canada. Free play uses credits that cannot be cashed out. If you want to compare the remake with the 2021 original side by side, demo mode is where to do it. See our free slots page for practice play at regulated casinos.
Gates of Olympus 1000 RTP: three settings
Three published settings, 96.5%, 95% and 94%, mean the same game can return 2.5 percentage points less depending on the casino. Over $2,000 of total stakes that is $50 in expected value. Regulated operators show the RTP in the game’s info or help screen; read it before you commit a budget.
