Big Bass Splash Slot Review

Pragmatic Play's 2022 Big Bass sequel with four random modifiers and a 5,000x cap. Specs, where the official demo is and legal options in Canada.

Big Bass Splash Slot Review

Pragmatic Play followed Big Bass Bonanza with Big Bass Splash in June 2022: five reels, three rows, 10 fixed paylines and a free spins round in which a fisherman wild collects fish values and random modifiers can trigger. The maximum win is 5,000x the bet, more than double the original’s. OLBG lists a default RTP of 96.71% with lower versions and rates volatility high. Pragmatic Play lists an official Big Bass Splash demo page on its website.

Four random modifiers in the bonus

The free spins work like the rest of the series: the fisherman wild collects the money shown on fish symbols. Splash adds four random modifiers that can trigger in the round:

  • Respin
  • Hook
  • Dynamite
  • Bazooka

Our sources name the four modifiers but do not set out what each one does or how often it fires, so we do not guess; the exact rules are in the game’s help screen. The effect is that bonus rounds vary more than in the original, which fits the move from medium-high to high volatility. A Buy Free Spins option exists where the market allows it.

The official Big Bass Splash demo

Pragmatic Play lists a Big Bass Splash demo on its official game page, which carries a full-screen game frame. We could not confirm from the page text alone that it loads in Canada. Free play uses credits that cannot be withdrawn, which makes it the low-cost way to see how often the bonus arrives. Our free slots guide covers practice play at regulated casinos.

Bonus buy and the RTP version you get

Buy Free Spins charges a fixed multiple of your stake, lost if the round pays less. Some markets switch it off. On RTP, the 2.1-point gap between 96.71% and 94.6% means about $21 less expected return on $1,000 of stakes. The game info screen at your casino shows the version in use; our high RTP slots page explains how to compare.
