Captain Cooks Casino App

A phone browser is the confirmed way to play Captain Cooks Casino on mobile; a current official app in the App Store or Google Play is not something a primary source confirmed for us. Third-party pages give conflicting accounts of iPhone, Android and direct-download versions, so we treat all of them as unverified. Store status on file: Android not stated, iOS not stated.

Which Captain Cooks mobile casino you get

The brand runs two sites, and that carries over to mobile. In Ontario you should use the Ontario site, operated by Apollo Entertainment Ltd and registered with the AGCO and iGaming Ontario. Outside Ontario, the version you reach is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, not by any province. Any app or mobile shortcut you set up connects to one of those two, and the rules, offers and complaint routes follow the site, not the device.

For Captain Cooks Casino mobile in Canada outside Ontario, think about the provincial alternative first: PlayNow in B.C., Manitoba and Saskatchewan, or the crown site in your own province.

Red flags in a Captain Cooks download

1. Publisher name. For Ontario, it should match Apollo Entertainment Ltd or a name the operator’s Ontario site links to. A listing from an unrelated developer is not the casino.
2. Start from the operator. Open the official site first and use its store badge or download link. Do not install from an ad, a text message or a forum post.
3. Avoid unknown APK files. On Android, a file from anywhere other than the operator’s official site or Google Play can contain malware. Do not turn off your phone’s security settings for a file you cannot trace to the operator.

Installing the app or using the mobile site

If the official site offers a store listing for your province:

1. Follow the link from the official site to the App Store or Google Play.
2. Confirm the publisher, then install.
3. Log in with your existing account; a second account breaks the terms.
4. Allow location access so the app can confirm your province.
5. Set your limits before you play.

If no listing is offered, open the site in your phone’s browser, log in, and pin it to your home screen. Any app and the browser site sit on the same account.

Location checks on the Ontario mobile site

The Ontario version must confirm that you are physically in Ontario before you play, so it asks for your location on a phone. You must be 19 or older in Ontario and 18 or older in Alberta, part of the national rule of 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). iGaming Ontario says you may access an account from outside Ontario but cannot place wagers there. We do not give tips for changing or hiding your location.

Mobile limits and help

Whatever limit tools your account offers work the same on a phone. You can also self-exclude from all regulated Ontario online gambling through BetGuard. Our responsible gambling page lists help lines, including ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600.
