"Offshore access" means the site accepts players there without a provincial licence: provincial rules and complaint routes do not cover it.

You can no longer play at Unibet Casino from Canada. Its Ontario site, on.unibet.ca, closed permanently on 26 March 2024, and the page now shows only a closure notice saying accounts can no longer be accessed. Unibet does not appear on the current iGaming Ontario list of registered sites.

That means there is no current Unibet Casino bonus code, welcome offer, free spins deal or no deposit bonus for Canadian players. Any page still advertising a Unibet Casino promo for Ontario is out of date. We keep this page so that searchers find an accurate answer rather than an old review.

What happened to Unibet in Ontario

Unibet entered the Ontario market as a private operator registered with the AGCO and contracted with iGaming Ontario, the model that has run since 4 April 2022, and it served players physically in Ontario. The closure notice does not explain the reasons or name the owning company, and we do not speculate on either.

The unibet.com hub now links only to European and Australian sites, and unibet.ca does not resolve. None of those foreign sites is licensed by a Canadian province, so they are not a substitute for the closed Ontario platform.

Old Unibet accounts, the app and logging in

The Unibet Casino app for Ontario no longer serves Canadian accounts, and there is no working Unibet login for Ontario players. If you held a balance before March 2024 and believe it was not returned, keep any emails or statements you have and contact the AGCO, the regulator that registers operators in Ontario. Do not trust third-party sites that offer to recover funds for a fee.

Where Ontario players can go instead

On 29 October 2026 the iGaming Ontario list showed 84 gaming websites from 49 operators. Each is listed by iGaming Ontario, follows AGCO standards on advertising and bonuses, and is covered by provincial self-exclusion tools. Our iGaming Ontario explainer shows how to check the official list, and our Ontario page compares the options. Players in other provinces can use their crown site; see our casino rankings for a province-by-province view.

Brands linked to Unibet

The closure notice does not name the company behind the Ontario site, so we cannot trace related brands or say whether any of them serve Canadian players. We do not list them as alternatives. Our sister sites page covers how to trace operator groups.
