bet365 App

You can bet in the bet365 app only while you are physically in Ontario or Alberta, the two provinces where bet365 is registered. Installing it somewhere else in Canada does not unlock betting there. Below we cover where to find the official listing, how installation works and what the location check means for you.

What bet365 offers on mobile

bet365 markets its sportsbook and its casino as separate mobile products. We could not verify the Canadian store listings directly, because the operator’s Ontario pages blocked our checks. The Ontario product runs under the Ontario site, on.bet365.ca, and is operated by Hillside (International Sports) ENC, the entity on the iGaming Ontario directory. Which provincial version you reach depends on where you are when you log in.

App availability on file: not stated on Android, not stated on iPhone. A blank value means we could not confirm it. We do not quote star ratings, which change constantly.

How to install the bet365 app safely

1. Open the App Store or Google Play on your phone. Do not use a download link from an ad, a social media post or a message.
2. Search for bet365 and open the listing. Check that the developer is bet365 and that the description names Ontario or Alberta.
3. Install the app and allow location access when asked. Without location access the app cannot confirm your province and will block bets.
4. Log in with your existing account or register. Expect to confirm your name, date of birth and address, and possibly upload ID before your first withdrawal.
5. Set a deposit limit in the account settings before you fund the account.

If a website offers a bet365 installation file to download directly, do not use it. A file from outside the official stores can carry malware and has nothing to do with the regulated Ontario or Alberta product.

Province restrictions and the location check

Ontario’s rules let you open or access an account from anywhere, but you can only place a wager while you are physically in Ontario. The app enforces this with your phone’s location services. Alberta’s private market, which opened on 13 July 2026, works the same way for Alberta players. Play is 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec).

If you live in British Columbia, Manitoba or Saskatchewan, the regulated option is PlayNow. In Quebec, Loto-Quebec runs its online casino and the Mise-o-jeu sports app; in Atlantic Canada, the regulated option is Atlantic Lottery. See our province guide for the full picture. We do not give advice on getting around location checks: doing so breaches the operator’s terms and can lead to a closed account and withheld winnings.

bet365 casino app versus the sportsbook app

The sportsbook product is where pre-game and in-play bets are placed; the casino product holds slots, table games and live dealer games. On regulated sites a deposit limit is normally set at account level, but check in the settings whether a limit you set covers both products. Our mobile casino guide explains what to expect from casino apps in Canada in general.

Common app problems

• “You are not in a permitted location”: location services are off, a network tool is masking your position, or you are near a provincial border. Turn location on and connect to a normal mobile or home network.
• Login works but bets fail: usually the same location issue, or an account verification step that is not finished.
• App not found in the store: your store region may be set outside Canada.

Set limits and know where to get help before you play; our responsible gambling page lists provincial helplines. For licence details and the rest of the product, read our full bet365 review.
