Trustly Casinos

Trustly connects your online banking to a casino cashier. In Canada it appears at a few Ontario sites and some offshore casinos.

With Trustly, a casino deposit comes straight from your online banking: you choose your bank in the cashier, log in and approve, with no card number or separate wallet. Trustly casinos in Canada are few. The method appears at a handful of Ontario-registered sites, such as Stardust in our records and PointsBet, whose Ontario rules list Online Banking (Interac and Trustly), and at a handful of offshore casinos.

Online gambling is 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). Set a deposit limit before you link a bank account; our responsible gambling page shows where.

Choosing your bank in the cashier

According to PointsBet Canada’s walkthrough, you pick online banking in the cashier, select your bank from the list, sign in through the secure window and approve the deposit. The money leaves your chequing account, so credit card cash-advance rules do not apply. Because the operator sees the transfer rather than card data, Trustly is often grouped with Interac as a pay-by-bank option.

Stardust is registered with the AGCO and iGaming Ontario and with AGLC in Alberta. The other four are offshore sites licensed in Malta or Alderney; they are not licensed by any province, and provincial complaint routes do not reach them. Our iGaming Ontario guide explains how to check a site in the registry.

Open questions about Trustly in Canada

We could not confirm a Trustly announcement of a general Canadian gambling launch, whether every site supports Trustly withdrawals, or any fees. Treat Trustly payouts as operator-specific: some sites pay back through the same bank connection, others by Interac or bank transfer. Trustly casino bonus terms follow the same rule as any method; read the excluded methods list.

Bank statements and chargebacks

A pay-by-bank deposit shares less than a card payment, but the operator still verifies your identity, and your bank statement will show the payment. Bank transfers cannot be charged back like a card purchase, so keep the reference number and raise problems with the operator first.

Before you link your bank

Only enter bank login details in a window opened from the cashier of a site you have checked, never through a link in an email or message. Look for the operator in the iGaming Ontario directory or the AGLC registrant list, set a deposit limit, and note where the terms say winnings will be paid.

Questions readers ask

Which Ontario casinos accept Trustly?

In our records Stardust lists Trustly online banking, and PointsBet Canada lists Online Banking (Interac and Trustly) in its Ontario rules. Check each cashier.

Is Trustly the same as Interac?

No. Both move money from your bank account, but Trustly uses a bank login window while Interac e-Transfer runs through your bank app.

Does Trustly work for payouts too?

It depends on the operator. Some pay back through the same bank connection, others by Interac or bank transfer. We could not confirm a general rule.
