Spirit Casino App

A Spirit Casino app exists in some form, but sources disagree on what it is: AskGamblers records apps for iOS and Android, while Gambling.com describes a progressive web app, a shortcut that opens the mobile site from your home screen. We could not confirm a listing in the Canadian App Store or Google Play ourselves, so the safest route is to start from the casino’s own mobile site and check what it offers. Store availability on file: Android Yes, iOS Yes.

Spirit Casino is licensed in Curacao, not by any province. Our Spirit Casino review covers the licence and ownership questions in full.

Store app or web app: how to tell

A store app is downloaded from the App Store or Google Play, shows a developer name, a privacy section and an age rating, and updates through the store. A progressive web app is added from the browser: you open the casino site, choose “Add to Home Screen” or “Install app”, and an icon appears that opens the same site full-screen. Both can work well. The difference is in checks: a store listing has been through the store’s review, a web app has not, but a web app also cannot install anything beyond the site itself.

App stores restrict real-money gambling apps, which is one reason offshore casinos often offer a web app instead of a store download.

Installing the Spirit Casino web app safely

1. Type spiritcasino.com into your phone browser yourself rather than following an ad. The domain spirit.casino is a parked page, not the casino.
2. Check the footer for the licence seal and company name, and compare it with what you expect.
3. On iPhone, open Safari’s share menu and choose Add to Home Screen. On Android, open the Chrome menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
4. Log in through the new icon and turn on any two-step login the casino offers.

Never install an APK file sent by email, chat or a search result. A casino that needs you to switch off Android’s protection against unknown sources is asking you to take a security risk.

If a store listing appears

Should you find a Spirit Casino listing in a store, check that the developer name matches the company in the casino’s footer, read the reviews for complaints about logins or payments, and look at the permissions requested. Copycat apps that use a casino’s name and logo to collect logins are common. Our mobile casinos page lists warning signs.

Province restrictions on mobile play

A phone app does not change where a casino is licensed. Spirit Casino is not part of Ontario’s regulated market, so Ontario residents should expect to be refused. In other provinces the site is offshore whether you play in a browser or through an icon. Regulated mobile options exist: Ontario-registered casinos, Alberta’s private market and crown apps such as PlayNow. The table on our provinces page shows what is regulated where you live.

What the app does not change

Deposits, bonuses and withdrawals follow the same terms in the app as on desktop. Payment methods on file: Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Bank wire, Cryptocurrencies. Limits set on desktop should apply on mobile too; check that they do.

A casino one tap away

A casino on your home screen is always one tap away. You must be 19+ (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). Consider setting a daily deposit limit before you install, and see our responsible gambling page for provincial helplines.
